airport_travellersReflecting on departure

I like this theme, arrivals/departures. While waiting on airports I've often wished I'd had the guts to pick up my camera and on my last trip to Istanbul I actually did. No one seemed to mind, so just wait 'til my next trip! (Whenever that'll be)

Handheld camera, no flash, at Ataturk Airport, Istanbul, Turkey,

Totally ok! In fact, you reminded me of someone I wanted to read but forgot about, so, Thanks! (I was just starting to worry about what to read when I've finished Nick Hornby)

Dear Lottie,

I made a mistake. The writer is Alain de Botton. The title of the book is: A week at the airport - a Heathrow diary.
Kind regards,
Rob

Rob: I just put A Long Way Down on the shelf and is now reading Juliet, Naked. He's great Nick Hornby! Got to find the book you're writing about...
Pius: Thanks! I'll save that for a rainy day

Airports are 'no men's land', people are in transition - take the opportunity to take photographs. Nick Hornby wrote a book about these special zones in the world.
